Hiya,

Switch the machine off.

Press and hold start and skip buttons together.

While holding, switch on.

The lights should flash, release the buttons and the lights will scroll.

.

Press and release the fabric button repeatedly until you get the 2nd bottom led of the 2nd column lit.

You should get an error code.

(On some versions, it's the bottom led of the 2nd column to get the code).

.

Let me know the code.

.

Now switch off, on and off again.

.

Thanks

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

E41

Will try again later today

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

Thanks for that.

.

Run the dryer again.

The code you've got is a door lock fault.

After running the dryer for a while, check for a stored error again.

.

Thanks

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I re-ran the dryer for 10 mins or so then stopped the programme.

I did the error check and got E73.

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

Thanks for that.

.

E73 refers to a fault with the temperature sensor on top of the dryer heater box.

.

Unplug the appliance.

Take the top off.

On top of the tub is the heater assembly.

At the front, it curves down to the door seal.

You should see a circular sensor there.

.

Check the wiring to it.

If ok, try a new sensor.

This should cure the problem. (unless there's further faults on the machine).

.

Hope this helps

Thanks

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

What is the part code for this sensor? Serial number is 417 00081

What other items could have failed?

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

Sorry, I don't have a part number as I don't have the product number of your appliance.

Please check with the supplier before ordering.

..

You can only get 1 fault at a time, you have to sort that to see if there's more.

Replace the sensor, check the wiring and then see if a new fault code appears.

.

Hope this helps

Thanks

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Have replaced the circular sensor.

The drier does still not dry and the error code is still E73

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.

Hiya,

Did you check the wiring to it?

If the wiring is open circuit, you'll get the same fault.

.

Thanks
