Hi May I have the full model # so I can assist you properly?
Also how old is the Vac?
Also do you have a test meter?
It seems to be an A8605AZ the vac is about a year old...
I don't have a meter I'm afraid
Hi the problem could be one of three things here.
It could be a bad cord or plug but you will need a cheap digital meter from a store like Radio Shack to check all of these things.
Second it could be a thermal cut off that will need to be replaced, it looks like a small cylindrical part with one lead at each end, it will be near the motor.
Or it could be the motor itself that has failed.
I will help you test all of this when you are ready.
One other thing, if it failed while you were using it and it was on and quit by itself, then the switch is likely ok:-)
