Can you post the actual model number of the appliance please?
Thanks for that.
Switch the machine on.
Close the door.
Press and hold together the start button and the button to the left of it.
You should see another fault code.
Let me know the code.
OK, thanks for that.
Your machine is reporting a time out draining.
If you set it on rinse and spin, does it empty quickly?
Does it empty before it comes up with E20?
no the fault code comes up on the drain and spin cycle as well
Is that No, it doesn't empty quickly?
or No it doesn't empty before the E20 comes up?
Is the machine emptying the water quickly?
it does'nt finish the cycle before the code comes up but the machine does seem to empty quick enough
and if i hit the start button again when the fault code is up at 8 mins on spin and drain it sets the timer back at 14 mins
do you think it could be a fault with the pcb?
You need to put the machine on rinse and spin only.
You need to watch what happens.
Seems to empty quick enough doesn't tell me anything.
I need to know if it actually empties before the code comes up.
You will hear the note of the drain pump change when it's empty.
i emptied the hose into a bucket and the flow rate was good
yes it empties and the pump note changes when empty and no fault code but something i have noticed is its had 3 rinses with no soap and there seems to be a lot of suds still maybe something or nothing
Put the drain hose back into the stand pipe or onto the spigot it connects to.
The suds is a build up of soap and body fats in your machine.
These may be the cause of restrictions in the pressure system, causing the E20.
Basically, the machine empties (which is what I was trying to determine) then, after it's empty it comes up E20 because the pressure switch has been unable to reset quickly enough, due to restrictions.
If I'm correct in my assumptions, 2 or 3 boil washes with nothing in the machine should sort it out.
Connect it all up again, run it on it's hottest wash and let it go all the way through.
Repeat it twice more.
Hopefully, this will get rid of any soap build up and cure the problem you are having.
Try it out.
Get back to me if you find you need more help or there's further problems.
Hope this helps
