What you can try is unplug the machine, then access the display panel.
Remove the wiring plugs, next reconnect them all and try this again please let me know if this helps or not als I will need the age of the machine?

ok its a integrated machine. I'll try and pull it out now.

the machine seems to be completely locked in place. I can't move it at all.
