I have just taken delivery of a second hand static caravan

Resolved Question:

I have just taken delivery of a second hand static caravan fitted with a Bosch ClassiXX 120 Express washing machine ( WFO2466GB/07 ) The water, waste connections have been made and the machine plugged into the 240v supply. On trying to set any programme the display is showing a ' E:. ' and the machine does not start. The washer was working normally before the static caravan was transported
How do I clear this code and get the machine to function ?

Can you check to see if there is a number after the E?
The letter is indicating an error and the number indicates the fault.

When you start the cycle, does the door lock, or is it just closed? Is there any noise at all?

No number after the 'E' but in place of a number there are 3 red dots arranged as :- ; '


 


The door is closed firmly and clicks.


 


When a wash cycle is selected and switched on the red error code shows, there is no noise at all and the door can still be opened.

Unfortunately that is not a valid error code.

I suspect that in the move, the transit bolts were not fitted to the machine. This means the drum and concrete weight can move around inside the cabinet and this may have caused the problem.

Turn off the power and remove the lid.
Look carefully at the board/timer on the fascia. Look closely for any damage. Make sure all the wiring is connected and nothing is loose.
Also remove the rear panel and check the panels there and the motor connection
