If a cooker hood is leaking water its usually because the venting system is blocked up or not venting correctly. That's the only thing that will cause a hood to leak as theres nothing at all in there that was water in there.
What you need to do is remove the chimney section of the hood and you will see the vent hose there.
Check its connected up correctly and is going out through the wall.
Also check the vent outside isn't blocked up as well and can blow out freely.
So check them and see what you find as its usually something to do with that if its leaking water.
Yeap it has to be something to do with that. As it sucks the air up and out through the vent. If this is blocked then moisture builds up inside the vent and this then drips back down and cause it to come through the cooker hood itself.
Sorry for the delay.
Can you feel the air being blown out from the vent outside?
Also are the filters all clear and the mesh filter clean?
