Hi

Ok so when you set it going the display goes blank does it and is the washer stopping?

If you turn it off and back on again does the display come back on?

Hi

Ok so its not going out completey.

Try this and see if theres an error code in there.

Set the washer going on a spin cycle and then press and hold the start button and the button on the left of it.

Keep them held in and after a few seconds the error code will come up E??

Let me know the code.

Regards

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

both buttons pressed down some 40 seconds and display shows time left for spin,

no Ecode shown.

Spinning continues ok

Expert:  Daniel T. replied 3 years ago.

Hi

Ok try this and see what happens.

Turn the dial to off

Press and hold the start button and the button to the left of it again.

Keep them pressed in and then turn the dial 1 click clockwise.

Once the leds start to flash let go of the buttons.

Now turn the dial 9 more clicks clockwise and see if the error code comes up E??

If not turn the dial to spin or short spin and see if the code is there.

Then once you have the code turn the washer off then on then back off again.

done as above but no E?? code only spin period 10

Expert:  Daniel T. replied 3 years ago.

Hi

Ok just double checked the service manual and it should have been the 9 th click clockwise when you was in test mode.

Did you mange to get the washer into test mode by holding the buttons in and turn the dial?

Regards

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

re-did it with same result.

tried again and dial in pos white cottons display shows ELE and washer seems to work.

what next ?

Expert:  Daniel T. replied 3 years ago.

Hi

Ok the washer is in test mode if ELE is shown.

So turn it off again and it will exit test mode.

So its going into test mode but im just not understanding why you don't see the error code. As even if there wasn't a code it will still show E00

Try it again and get into test mode but this time when you are in the first positon clockwise turn the dial 1 click at a time and wait 5 seconds before moving to the next position. Do this all the way round to off and see if the code comes up at any point then.

Expert:  Daniel T. replied 3 years ago.

Hi

Ok maybe going through the cycle has reset the electronics.

So just see how it goes from there and if it fails again just get back to me.
