Hiya,
Can you post the model number of the appliance please?
.
Is this the tube attached to the basket?

Thanks

Model no. Is DWD4311. The tube is the one from the bottom of the dishwasher floor to the back wall. The top shelf pushes back against it. The plastic clip is misshapen and does not allow the tube attached to the top basket to clip firmly to it. Does that make sense to you? Eric.

Hiya,
I've attached a couple of pages from the service manual for you.
.
If you have a look at it, you should be able to unclip the tube and fit the new one.
I'm off out for a while now but if you need more help, I'll pick up again when I get back.

Thanks for that. Looks fairly straight-forward. I'll have a play with it and see if I can remove it.
