Hiya,
Can you post the model number of the appliance please?

Is it every light flashing or just some of them?

Thanks
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
WT 540 hope that's the model number)
Yes all lights on front panel flash when washer turned on.Last week they flashed for short period then completed the wash normally.Today the lights will not stop flashing, have had to unplug and plug back in again
Its a 1400 spin

Hiya,
OK, after you unplugged and plugged in again, did the machine work or did it just continue flashing?

Unplug it for 10 minutes is still flashing.

Thanks

we have already tried this.It doesn't flash until you try to turn the washer back on then same thing happens.Continuous flashing lights until appliance turned off at power.

I was actually asking a question in my previous post.
Telling you to unplug for 10 minutes was in case you hadn't done that.

Unplug the appliance.
Take the rear panel off.
Take the main control board out (it's bottom left when viewed from the rear).
.
Unplug each connector in turn and plug it back on.
.
Refit the board and try again.
.
What happens?

Thanks

Hiya,
No problem, just post when you can.

Thanks

Have tried what you suggested but exactly the same problem when switched back on.looks like we need engineer out to repair

Hiya,
I'm afraid you'll likely need a new control board.
It has to be programmed after installation too.
.
Good luck with the repair.
Thanks
