Hiya,
Do you have a glass lid that covers the burners when not in use?

Thanks

Yes there is a glass lid that covers the burners when not in use

Hiya,
OK, I'm assuming the appliance has been working previously on this supply.

If it was, pull the cooker out.
At the rear you'll find a valve that the lid presses on when you raise the lid.

Look and see what happens when you raise the lid.
Is the mechanism pressing down on the valve and operating it?

Thanks

Hi

I've looked at the mechanism the glass lid operates, it slides an operating lever/arm across the front of the cooker behind the knobs, this looks to be working correctly

Hiya,
OK, at the rear of the cooker it should press down on a plunger to allow gas through. (There's a gas valve where the hose connects)
Is it doing this?

Thanks

are you sure there is a valve, I have looked from the gas supply pipe quick disconnect, then it goes straight into the cooker via a threaded connection. the pipe then goes to the front of the cooker (control knobs)

Hiya,
Any machine with a lid has to be fitted with a safety valve.

Stoves normally have it on top of the connection at the rear.

As you don't appear to have this, I can't help you.
The diagrams I have show me the valve at the rear.

I'll opt out of your question and open it to all again.

Thanks
