Have you unplugged the TV and tried to check the connections between the box & TV ?
yes, the box was left unplugged from the wall overnight at the suggestion of sky, who this
morning told me that my problem was with the telly, which I only bought just over a yearago, so
its not 20yrs old etc. the chap last night from sky told me that I was in the "wrong mode" but
the chap this morning seems to feel its my television. please, have you got something
up your sleeve to assist in sorting this out. ta. lizzie xx

hi kevin; yes, it was unplugged overnight at the suggestion of the sky engineer (hoping it
would cure the problem) but it didnt! Just cant clear this stupid screen. xx

Hi Kevin -sorry we stopped typing - my fault entirely - Im new on computers!
Now I have a screen that simply says NO SIGNAL etc. - seems to be
getting from bad to worse! waiting to talk to you xx

sorry that we got cut off - have explained to JA that Im new on computers
etc and keep getting stuck. (well, I'm nearly 78 and with chronic lung
problems. Had pneumonia three years ago and its left the lungs in a not
very situation). Waiting to hear from you with any suggestions to might
have! Sky suggested calling in a Sharp engineer!!
