Hiya,
Can you post the E-Nr number of the appliance please?
It's on a label in the door recess.

Has the machine stopped full or empty of water?

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Er-Nr waa24171gb/12

The machine was drained of water but the clothes we still damp. I checked the pump and removed fluff etc which may have bee5 afecting it but still no operation.

Hiya,
OK, thanks for that.

If you cancel the existing program and select spin only, does it lock the door?
Does the drain pump run?

How old is the machine?
How are your diy skills?

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Slecting spin doesnt lock the door.

I am not sure how old the machine is.

My diy skills are reasonable.

Hiya,
OK, not what I expected.

The rinse light flashing indicates a fault in the motor circuit.
However, you should be able to cancel the existing program, select a new one and start it.
The door should lock at least.

When you tried the spin only, did the flashing light go out before you pressed start?

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

No the flashing light remained.

Hiya,
OK, that's not a good sign, it suggests a board fault.

Unplug the appliance for 10 minutes.
Plug it back in.
Does the light come on immediately, flashing?

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I had tried this previously and when powered back on the flashing light remained.

Hiya,
OK, thanks for that.

You'll likely want to do this tomorrow.
Unplug the appliance.
Take the top off.
Take the dispenser out and take the facia panel off.
Take the control board out of the facia and open the casing.
Is the pcb damaged?

Thanks
