Customer Question

Hi we have a new Zanussi machine, spec says 85cm height but it's taller due to the feet and won't fit under our work top. Paid for installation by XXXXX XXXXX and they've left it sticking out

Hi

Ok the height it shows should included the feet aswell. Im taking it the feet are as low as they can go?

If so then the 85cm is the maximum height. If it is higher then the specs are wrong for the washer. But to be honest ive not come across many problems with fitting these under a work top as its just a standered size washer. All modern washers are 85cm tall.

What size gap do you have under the work top. Have you checked the hight of the gap?

Hi, the height of the gap is 85cm, the machine is about 85.5/86 with the feet. Can feet be removed?
Expert:  Daniel T. replied 2 years ago.
Hi

Ok that is a very tight gap.

Yes the feet will come off. Pull washer out and lean backwards and you can get at the feet you unscrew them.

But be warned they are very tight. You will need to use a big pair of mole grips or big pipe pliers to unscrew them. As its very hsrd and painful by hand.

But remove the feet and it will gove the extra space.

But 85cm is a very tight gap as most machines are that hight.
You can get the odd few Bosch which are 57.8cm but other then that they are average 85cm or a little bigger as you have found.

Regards
