Resolved Question:

We have a Baxi Brazilia F8S balanced flue wall heater in our Dining Room, which has failed to stay lit. It has been serviced and a new thermocouple fitted, but it still will not stay lit. Our Service Engineer said it requires a new valve, but he found this part is now longer available. This is unbelievable as our heater is only 6 years old.
Our local Gas Showroom has for sale an identical Baxi Brazilia F8S balanced flue heater which we are thinking of buying, but understand from the above, that its valve (Valor part no. 243202) is now apparently obsolete.
This would make the buying of this heater not a wise move, if you cannot get the spare parts.
Is it true that the valve is longer available? If however, it is available, could we purchase one to get our present Brazilia back into working order.
Looking forward to your reply.
