I have a Bosch GL-30 vacuum cleaner. It has suddenly started to spew all the dust that it hoovers through the top vent on the lid. What is the problem? Thanks.

canuck the pro :

Hi, my name is Mike and I have been in the home improvement and repair field for 20 years. I will be very glad to help you today. If you remove the hoses you will find that there is a blockage in the hose. Hard to say where but it is blocked in one of the intake hoses, likely the first hose from the brushes.

JACUSTOMER-y3edhbo0- :

Ok. I'll try that. Can you hold on for a minute, please?

canuck the pro :

I can hold on for many minutes. No worries.

JACUSTOMER-y3edhbo0- :

Sorry, I'm having trouble undoing the head brush from the metal tube. Please, bear with me

canuck the pro :

Don't you worry. Take your time.

JACUSTOMER-y3edhbo0- :

I have checked every bit of tubing and there is no blockage

canuck the pro :

You were able to remove all the tubing? Is the bag seated properly?

JACUSTOMER-y3edhbo0- :

Yes, I removed everything. I'm quite sure that the bag is in the right position as I have done it many times before

canuck the pro :

What about in the ports where the hoses hook up? It certainly sounds like there is a blockage in the intake.

JACUSTOMER-y3edhbo0- :

Sorry, what do you mean by 'ports'?

canuck the pro :

Where the hoses hook up. Have you removed the hoses to inspect for blockages?

JACUSTOMER-y3edhbo0- :

Yes! Every single one.

canuck the pro :

So the brushes are spinning, the filters are cleaned or new and there is absolutely no chance of blockage?

JACUSTOMER-y3edhbo0- :

Yes, I'm afraid

canuck the pro : I've opened the question to other experts. I'm out of suggestions for now.
JACUSTOMER-y3edhbo0- :

thanks

Hi

Is the vacuum cleaner actually picking up of the floor?

And are you sure the belt is fully fitted into the place inside the cleaner?

Regards
