Appliance Repair Questions? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Hi, my name is Mike and I have been in the home improvement and repair field for 20 years. I will be very glad to help you today. If you remove the hoses you will find that there is a blockage in the hose. Hard to say where but it is blocked in one of the intake hoses, likely the first hose from the brushes.
Ok. I'll try that. Can you hold on for a minute, please?
I can hold on for many minutes. No worries.
Sorry, I'm having trouble undoing the head brush from the metal tube. Please, bear with me
Don't you worry. Take your time.
I have checked every bit of tubing and there is no blockage
You were able to remove all the tubing? Is the bag seated properly?
Yes, I removed everything. I'm quite sure that the bag is in the right position as I have done it many times before
What about in the ports where the hoses hook up? It certainly sounds like there is a blockage in the intake.
Sorry, what do you mean by 'ports'?
Where the hoses hook up. Have you removed the hoses to inspect for blockages?
Yes! Every single one.
So the brushes are spinning, the filters are cleaned or new and there is absolutely no chance of blockage?
Yes, I'm afraid
Is the vacuum cleaner actually picking up of the floor?
And are you sure the belt is fully fitted into the place inside the cleaner?
