Hello I have just bought Siemens WM14Y890GB The machine

Customer Question

Hello I have just bought
Siemens WM14Y890GB

The machine is on a wooden floor, and is making an awful lot of sound during the spin cycle. The vibration is so much that I had to poll it out from under the counter. I have checked the machine again on a more stable floor and a lower spin, still it vibrates. Any suggestion on how to make the machine more quiet and the spin cycle more stable.

Hi

How old is the washer?

Has it been ok until now?

Also if you open the door and hold the metal drum at the bottom can you lift it up and down?

Regards

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Few days old. It is the first wash cycle that we tried.

the metal drum seems secure.

Hi

Ok just check the back of the washer and make sure all the bolts are removed the the plastic lugs as well.

Also lean the washer backwards an make sure theres not packing left under the washer as sometimes a ploystrine block can be left under there.

Let me know what you find.

I have just removed the transportation bolts. No polystene either. Is it safe to start another 15 minute cycle.

Hi

Yes it would be safe to start another cycle and this will now make it quite now when spinning.

If you answer I gave that would be great.

Many thanks
