Customer Question

My Bosch dishwasher Type SI 150 is showing a light stating check water. There is adequate water at the input. Is there a valve/common fault?

Hiya,
Can you post the E-Nr number of the appliance please?
If not on a label, it will be very faintly etched across the top of the inner door.

When you try to use the machine, is the drain pump running all the time?
Does the drain pump run with the door open?

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Hello,

The number is SGS43T72GB/06

Yes, the pump is running all the time and it does run with the door open.

Sorry for the delay in my reply but I have only just found your response.

Await your reply,

Thanks

Hiya,
No problem.

The fault you describe is either water in the base activating the anti flood device or the float in the pressure chamber has stuck.

Unplug the appliance.
Take the machine out
Take the side panels off.
Remove all the water in the base so the anti flood device resets.
If there's no water, free the float in the pressure chamber and then try the machine again.

Once it's working, watch it working to ensure it's not leaking.
If it is, you need to locate and cure the leak to rectify the fault.

Check it out, see what you find and get back to me if you need more help.

Hope this helps
Thanks

Hello again,

I followed your suggestions and after turning the machine over to check for screws to remove side panels, some water came out. When I righted the machine and tried it's operation, it worked normally/correctly. I suspect that getting the water out may have been the answer, as you suggested. Anyway, what ever it was your advice led to the correction of the problem, so I'm satisfied with your help,

Thanks
