Hiya,
The connections on the hob should be marked.
What are the markings?

Thanks
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

There are 3 zones 1N 2N 3N

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
Sorry, it should be marked either 1 to 5 and earth or similar.

The 1n, 2n, and 3n are these stamped on the metal of the hob?

Thanks
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

It is marked 1 to 5

Hiya,
OK, thanks for that.

You referred to the 1N, 2N etc.

There should be diagrams stamped for each of these.

As you are using 3 core wire (6mm twin and earth?) you should use the diagram for 1N

Take note of the links shown in the diagram.
These must be fitted to ensure it works.

If you can't figure it out, post a photograph or details of what is shown and I'll help.

Let me know what you find.
Thanks

Hiya,
How did you get on with wiring it?

Thanks
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I followed the 1N diagram as suggested and although the links were not readily to hand I eventually found them and after fitting it worked.

Thanks bruce
