Hiya,
It's been running a couple of days now, without the display, so this suggests it may just be the display that has failed.

It should work fine as the control appears to be doing what it should be doing.

You'll know within a couple of days if it's not working properly.
The blockage in the evaporator will return quickly.
If it's still working in a couple of days time, it seriously suggests the machine is working fine.

It was not a new question but a continuation of the original problem regarding the freezer problem!!

Hiya,
If it's done the same again, your defrost system isn't working either.

As this and the display have failed you will need to obtain and fit a new control board.

If there are no underlying faults, this should get it working again..
