What are the markings on the connector block?

Is it only the mains cable that has come off?

Hi,


Model number is XXXXX


The markings are a bit sparse but the bottom set are marked 'N'


the centre ones are 'Earth I think and there is one marked 'S'


the mains cable has completely come off and the black wire from the fridge harness ths come off

Yes that's right the bottom of the fridge left hand side behind the salad drawer

Post the 12 digit number below the barcode, it begins 85.
Prefix it with A so it's not crossed out.

Found it now but it's coming up as WM1800W

On the connector at the moment you should still have some wiring in.
The brown is the live and the live from the mains cable connects to that rail.

The blue still connected is neutral and the neutral from the mains cable connects to that rail.

The earth connects to the earth connection.

This leave 1 empty rail, it's marked I on the diagrams and the black goes onto this.

If you can identify the live, neutral and earth, it's the only rail left to connect to.

Try it, see if you can do it.
If not, post a photograph of the connector block here and I'll see if I can help.

i'll try that but it will be tomorrow as I am not with the fridge I will let you know.


 


there is a black cylindrical thing in the wiring block can you tell me what this is and can it be damaged if wired up incorrectly i.e mains power put on the top rail?
