Error keeps coming on the separate hob Er 42 . the message goes off then I can use the hobagain, but he message keeps coming back and I cannot use the hob until it goes off
What do you suggest?

How old is your hob?
Also does it do this even prior to use when the unit is cold?

Please try this for me, please turn off the power to the hob at the mains for 20 full minutes and then back on, please let me know if this helps with this, if it does please rate kindly, if not, please simply reply to me for further information;-)
