Just switched it back on and nothing happens. It appears that the 'temperature' button isn't working
so the lights on control work ?
Yes, the lights on control work, the oven works but when we press the temperature button nothing happens
how good are your DIY skills ?
Can you test temperature probe with a multimeter ?

we think the oven reaches the desired temperature when first putting the oven on but can alter the temperature thereafter
OK, I understand...check the image...this is the temperature probe..If this tests fine then you will have to replace the timer control as this unit does not have a separate temperature button
Even if it is reaching the desired temperature it can still be either the probe or the control
the door is closing properly...is that right ?
Yes, the door is closing properly
It will be beyond us to replace a part. Can you advise who to go to for call out?
You can contact the manufacturer at 0117(NNN) NNN-NNNN(option: 4) and check with them if they can still do it under warranty...as parts like control and probe usually come under 2 years warranty

No, I don't think so. For your info Caple say we're not covered by warranty! so now calling local agent. you've been very helpful. Thank you
