I have a Baxi solo wall mouted boiler type WM50 4RS, pilot light is alight but the boiler will not fire up,we normally hear a solenoid? click just before it fires,but now there is no repones, the unit is 22 years old and works fine untill today ,help please

Dont understand sorry,do you mean the room stat? if so yes that clicks

sorry mate,right i have just turned the t/sat on and off a few times, it started clicking as though something was like a valve was opening and closing fast-but then the boiler fired up!!-sorry this make sense?

Yes, if it doesn't click then it will not fire up
