Hi,

Customer:

Hi there are no model numbers on the machine and the paperwork has been lost for it. The machine is about seven years old.

KevinWhiteJA :

OK, the problem is with the heating element of the unit that will need replacement

KevinWhiteJA :

unfortunately I cannot tell you how to do it yourself without the model number

Customer:

Would you know what the model number would start with. Would it start SRS, as i've just found some Bosch paperwork that may relate

KevinWhiteJA :

E-nr

KevinWhiteJA :

then model number

Customer:

I cannot find anything with the model number. Thank you for your help.

KevinWhiteJA :

can you tell me the numbers you have found ?

Customer:

Bosch SRS43C22GB

KevinWhiteJA :

thank you

KevinWhiteJA :

that is the correct model number

KevinWhiteJA :

new element for this model number will cost you around £113

KevinWhiteJA :

and you can buy it here

KevinWhiteJA :

are you willing to replace it yourself ?

Customer:

Yes i would but i will have to weigh up the cost of the element against a new dishwasher.

KevinWhiteJA :

OK

KevinWhiteJA :

to remove the element you will have to pull it out and take the back off the unit

KevinWhiteJA :

The heater element assembly includes includes the upper/lower spray-arm diverter (motor), the element itself, a thermistor, a flow switch and an optical water quality sensor.

KevinWhiteJA :

once you locate it will come out easily and you can replace it with a new one

KevinWhiteJA :
