Hi I have a Bosch Classixx condenser tumble dryer it has worked

Hi I have a Bosch Classixx condenser tumble dryer it has worked fine until today. I put a load it it starts and then after about 2 mins it beeps and the drying light and the anti crease/ end button start to flash. What's wrong please

Thanks...the two flashing lights indicate heating fault

can you please take the rear off the unit

there is a thermostat with a small button on it

press that button to check if this will reset the unit

Customer: Having problem taking the rear off is it the metal panel ur talking about

please make sure unit is unplugged...sorry I mean take the bulged cover off

Customer: What's that look like ? And yes it's unplugged :)

the bulged cover the small one...like a shape of belt

Customer: Does the thermostat have a small red button ?

plug it back and try the unit again

Customer: Thanks a mill for that I hope it stays working. And yes I have another problem with my Bosch washing machine :) can u help ?

Customer: Ok about a month ago I turned it on and 1 min later it tripped the switches downstairs reset trip switch turned on machine again same thing happened. We checked no problems 3 days later it started working again when I tried it. Last Saturday same thing happened but it just keeps tripping the switch now

have you checked the drain pump filter assembly at the bottom of the unit ?

please try to clean it completely...if the problem returns after this then you will have to check the control

if something is stuck in there it might not even start sometimes

Customer: What am I looking for ? Can't turn the white screw cover

try to turn it anticlockwise

Customer: Nope not budging at all
KevinWhiteJA :

just pour some warm water on it and then try

make sure it is not too warm

Customer: Ok just trying again

Customer: Nope cannot get it to open is there a special tool I should be using ?

nope the filter turns easily

KevinWhiteJA :

as it is not turning then you will have to pull the unit out

and then take the rear and side panel

to gain access to the drain pump assembly

KevinWhiteJA :

after cleaning it completely the problem should be solved

Customer: Ok will give it a try. Just rearranging my wash room to gain access
