Please could you tell me the models which are the modern day

Customer Question

Please could you tell me the models which are the modern day replacements for the following in built ovens- Bosch microwave combination oven HMG 85 and for the HBN 22 Oven.

I had them both new in 1998 when I bought a new house and would like to replace them with the modern day equivalent. Could you confirm please that the measurements will be the same to fit into my space.

Thnk you. Fiona

Hiya,
Can you post the full E-Nr number from the labels on the appliance please?

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

E nr is HME8550GB/02 FDNNN-NN-NNNN/p>

Typ HFT 759

Only the 'top' oven has this - I cannot find a number on the 'main' oven. It is 2 separate units rather than a double oven. The instruction manual of the main oven has HBN 22. B GB on it with the numbers 800 232 00 below.

Expert:  Techdesk replied 2 years ago.

Hiya,

OK, thanks for that.

I'll see what I can find on the main oven.

Can you measure the width and height of the front of each appliance please?

This will help me find replacements.

Thanks

Customer: replied 2 years ago.

The top combination is 40.6(H) X 23.5 ( W)

The main oven is 63.6 (H) and same width.

Both height measurements include a strip of metal 4.5 cm (H)

Hope this makes some sense.

Hiya,
Thanks for that.

Does your width measurement include the control panel down the side of the oven?
The limited information I have at Bosch technical suggests the overall width is just under 600mm (60cm).

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

Sorry that is right it is just under 60cm I gave you the figure for the width in inches not cms. The height figures are correct though.

Hiya,
Thanks for that.

I'll have a look now and should be able to post suitable machines to fit (if available).

Thanks

Hiya,
They don't do a drop down door microwave oven in the size you need.
The nearest is a side opening oven.

These should fit into the space your machines currently occupy.
If the space for the microwave can be make bigger, then you can have a drop down microwave oven.

The drop down isn't available in black.

If you have a joiner/installer for the appliances, it should be possible to just squeeze these two into your existing unit.

There would need to be a 10mm filler between them rather than the 2 45mm fillers you have.

Check it out, see what you think and get back to me if you need more help.

Hope this helps
Thanks
