Hiya,
Which program are you using?

You say it never stops, can you explain more on this please?
If you select spin only, does it drain?

Thanks
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

the programme is eco 40 and it has been washing nearly three hours.

Hiya,
OK, and as previous, if you select spin only, does it drain and spin?

Are you getting any flashing lights or error codes?

Thanks
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Nothingat all.

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
OK, have you done successful washes previous to this?

When you cancelled this program and selected spin only, what exactly happened?

Thanks
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I thought when you picked a programme it followed it right through from start to finish. Are you saying I have to opporate different setting when I

wash?.

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
No, I'm trying to diagnose the fault and have asked you to check something.

Let's start again and please provide answers to all questions.

Have you run a successful program on this machine?
What happens if you cancel and select spin only?

Thanks
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I have never had a completed programme because it never stops. so i have to manualy put it on rinse and manualy on spin.

Hiya,
OK, that's a start.

So when you put it manually to spin, does it empty?

Thanks
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Yes it does. Iam doing somehtig wrong but cant work it out. Ihad my last machine which was a zanussi fo 30 years untill it died.

Hiya,
No, you aren't doing something wrong.

I need the full model number from the label inside the door.
It has letters and numbers.

If you select the rinse program, does that rinse, drain and spin on it's own?

Thanks
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Yes it does drain. The model No. is zwnb6140l.

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
The last question was, If you select the rinse program, does that rinse, drain and spin on it's own?
Can you advise please?

Not simply did it drain.

Thanks
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Yes it does. All the programmes work manualy.

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
No, I didn't ask if it worked if you selected them manually.

Let's try something else.
We'll see if there's a stored error.

Switch on.
Close the door.
Press and hold together the start button and the button to the left of it.
A code should be shown.
Let me know the code.

Thanks
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I have done as instructed. the button to the left is an extra rinse button, and no code.

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
OK, that's extremely strange as it should have shown E00 if there's no fault.

Sorry, it looks like you have a faulty control board on your machine.

There's no other reason why pressing and holding the 2 buttons together wouldn't show a code.

I had hoped to find out the cause of the actual fault you are having, but, if the board is faulty, this too could be the cause.

Try the 2 buttons again.

Thanks
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

There is no led screen on the appliance to show this code. I will have to go back to where I bought it and see what they can do for me.Thank you for your help.

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
OK, thanks for that, the service manual shows a display, if you don't have one, when you press the buttons, you should get flashing lights.

However, you have a faulty machine, it's under warranty.
If the retailer won't sort it, the manufacturer will.

Thanks
