Customer Question

Hi I'm trying to change the drum paddle on a zwf 16281w, but it doesn't seem to conform to just prising it out. Ideas and answers gratefully received.

Hiya,
There's a locking tab holding the drum lifter in place.
There's also a procedure to go through when fitting a new one, which, needs to be screwed in place.

I've uploaded the page from the service manual for the model number you've posted to mediafire.
Download and save it, it should help.

Copy and paste the following into a new browser window.

http://www.mediafire.com/view/9v1kqx0td84jxou/Pages_from_drum_lifter.pdf

Check it out, see how it goes and get back to me if you need more help.

Hope this helps
Thanks

Cheers, just looked at that page, am I right in thinking that I have to remove the drum hose, remove a locking screw then unclip the lifter from the drum, replacing is the reverse ?

Hiya,
No, the original I believe is simply clipped in.
The new one, is screwed in.

Thanks
