Hiya,
Is it the board in the light fitting you changed?

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

yes

Expert:  Techdesk replied 2 years ago.
Hiya,
OK, thanks for that.

If the potentiometer board hasn't sorted it out it leaves you with the main board at the top rear and an air sensor in the freezer.

The signals from the sensor in the board and in the freezer are not being acted upon.

Is the freezer at the correct temperature?
Is there ice forming in the freezer rear wall or roof?

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

No ice in the freezer compartment

-20 in the freezer

1.2 in the fridge

Hiya,
OK, the freezer is a bit cold too.
The optimum is -18

Does the freezer get colder than this?

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

it is now down to -26

Hiya,
OK, thanks for that.

There's only 2 possible causes, as I mentioned earlier, the air sensor in the freezer or the main board on the rear.

Beko parts are relatively inexpensive so it may be worthwhile replacing both.

If you don't want to do that, I'd start by replacing the air sensor in the freezer.
You should find this behind the rear panel inside the freezer.
It's normally attached to a panel.

Once replaced, try it again.

Hope this helps
Let me know how it goes or if you need more help.
Thanks

i just received the control board on the rear of the unit, fitted it and it still seem to freeze down to -30

i cannot find the air sensor so i dont know what to do now ?

Expert:  Techdesk replied 2 years ago.
Hiya,
I did say to start with the air sensor.

Did you take the panels inside the freezer out?

Thanks
Customer: replied 2 years ago.

I took the panel that has the fan guard off and this shows the matrix but i cannot see the air sensor

Expert:  Techdesk replied 2 years ago.
Hiya,
The sensor should be attached to the panel or to the lower part below the evaporator.

You'll see the wiring coming in the rear, follow the wires.
You have an element, a defrost sensor and an air sensor.

Thanks

in spares i cannot find these items for sale can i buy them from somewhere

Expert:  Techdesk replied 2 years ago.
Hiya,
Copy and paste the following into a new browser window.

http://www.4beko.co.uk/sensor-replacement-kit-air/product.pl?pid=2896711&query=4394720285

This is the kit to replace the air sensor.
It's a case of cutting and joining the wires to the sensor and then heating the heat shrink to complete the joint.

Other than that, it only leaves an internal wiring fault.

Thanks
