not pumping out trying to find fillter is hotpoint Aquarius washer/dryer Wd420. had workmen in lot of dust, washing curtins and cover is filter blocked

The filter is located inside the bottom front panel of the unit...with the unit unplugged you will have to clean it completely

If you press the it and then pull it out you will be able to remove the bottom front panel

KevinWhiteJA :

if it has screws you can remove them to open it

it is washer dryer no fillter in bottom under front plate

OK, can you tell me its complete model number

cant get door open to see unable to find paperwork still packed since moved

you will have to unplug the unit

KevinWhiteJA :

and then pull it out

KevinWhiteJA :

drop the drain hose and make sure the water is completely out

KevinWhiteJA :

then take the rear panel off

KevinWhiteJA :

after you take off the rear of the unit

KevinWhiteJA :

clean the sump hose and the drain pump assembly

KevinWhiteJA :

after everything is cleaned from there, take out the pump and clean it as well

the problem should be solved after this
