Customer Question

I have a hotpoint washing machine model number WF(NNN) NNN-NNNNspin 6kilo
It won't spin on full speed with a load of washing but spins without a load
Warning lights come on but I no longer have the inst. booklet so cannot tell what they mean
Can you help please ?

and when it works do you also hear any unusual sound from the washer ?

any flashing lights on the front ?

JACUSTOMER-kwx54s5m- : Yes 3 flashing lights I have looked them up and they tell me that the machine is not emptying
JACUSTOMER-kwx54s5m- : i have checked all the connections and the filter and there is no visible blockages anywhere

OK, can you please pull the washer out and then try to clean it completely

after cleaning take the top off the unit and locate the pressure switch

KevinWhiteJA :

there is a thin hose attached to it

KevinWhiteJA :

try to clean that thin hose completely

KevinWhiteJA :

and with a screw driver give few taps on the pressure switch

KevinWhiteJA :

after everything is cleaned including the pressure switch the problem should be solved
