Hi, my name is XXXXX XXXXX I have been in the home improvement and repair field for 20 years. I will be very glad to help you today. you are going to have to defrost it. Do you see on the vent if it is blocked with ice?
no ice on vent
Is it still full of items?
yes but its a fridge freezer sorry
The evaporator on the back is likely frozen. If you access the back of it do you see any ice formed there?
No ice on the back of freezer
You will have to remove the back panel to expose the evaporator. It is likely iced up. You can melt the ice on it with a hair dryer. The alternative is to remove all the items from the fridge and freezer and unplug it overnight and allow it to defrost on it's own.
iwill take option to unplug can i contact you again in mornong if need be
Be sure to leave the doors open also.
thank you very much fingers crossed as its only 2 years old
I am very confident it will fix the issue. I will cross my fingers anyway though.
