Hi

If you open the door there will be a sticker on the inside with the model number. It should start E-nr as Exxcel 8 is just the range of washer.

I cannot open the door as it has cut off mid cycle

Hi

Ok so when you replace the fuse does it all light up again?

When it blows the fuse again do you hear a pop from it?

Regards

Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Yes it all lit up the first time then went back to the cycle made a noise and stopped again. Now it isn't lighting up even with a new fuse

Hi

Ok im taking it you have tried it in a different socket have you?

If not try it and see if its still the same. You can try an extension lead as well.

Try that if you haven't already and let me know.

I can't do that it is wired in.

Hi

Ok are you able to remove the plastic plate on the wall were the washer is wired into and check for any lose wires or burnt socket?

As for this kind of fault we always start from the power supply first so check that and if you have a multi meter check to see there 230v there and let me know what you find.

Wiring in the box all looks fine. I don't have a meter check. Thanks for your help but I don't think we are getting anywhere.

Hi

No worries I think you will need a multi meter at least to confirm if there power there

before going any were on this.
