KevinWhiteJA :

Hi Mike

KevinWhiteJA :

Welcome to Just answer

KevinWhiteJA :

How old is it ?

Customer:

Thanks kevin.- not sure but about 5 years

KevinWhiteJA :

OK, as it is completely dead the problem is most likely with the High voltage transformer or HV capacitor itself that is bad and will need replacement

KevinWhiteJA :

unfortunately this repair/replacement will cost around £170 if it is because of any of these parts

KevinWhiteJA :

as these units have very high voltage inside even when turned off so we do not recommend anyone to work on it unless they know how discharge the HV capacitor
