the refrigeration and freezer unit came as part of the kitchen

Customer Question

the refrigeration and freezer unit came as part of the kitchen installation by a company in Plymouth some six years ago.The hand book supplied does not have a model number but is very clear and helpful. There is a reference on the operating instructions - 9000 403 449 (8810) which may help to identify. Our difficulty is that the drainage hole does not appear to take the droplets from frost melting on rear wall of cabinet. We have frequently cleaned the drainage hole with cotton buds but this has not cleared the problem. We cannot gain access to the condensation/evaporation pan. the water gets either to the base tray in the unit or into the lowest storage container.what is the problem please -we think it requires a technician to access or replace the pan? Hiya,
If you pour a little water into the drain hole, does it overflow or run away?

Thanks
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

a dessert spoon of water went straight in to the drainage hole which appears clear.

Hiya,
Ok thanks for that.
You need a good bit more water to test it.

Try 1/4 a cup and let me know.

Thanks

yes,a third of a cup went straight in with no spillage

Hiya,
Ok, thanks for that.

As it,s taking the water it shows the drain hole is clear.
The water from the rear wall should go into the drainage channel and away.

Check to see if the water is from the shelves rather than the rear wall.

For it to come from the rear wall, it would have to fill the channel and spill over..
Thanks
