KevinWhiteJA :

Hi, welcome to Just answer

KevinWhiteJA :

How old is it ?

KevinWhiteJA :

and after how many minutes/seconds does it stop ?

Customer:

It is 2 and a half years old ……and it runs for about 5 minutes and then stops . We use the 40 min program . I put it on a longer program and it was running for 10 minutes and then I turned it off . When restarted it came up with the condenser symbol again.

KevinWhiteJA :

OK

KevinWhiteJA :

the problem is more likely the thermostat that is bad and will need replacement ... it is located on the heater assembly at the back of the unit..can you test it with a multimeter ? how good are your DIY skills ?

Customer:

I have not got a multimeter unfortunately but DIY skills OK .

Customer:

Plus the unit looks to be completely sealed .

KevinWhiteJA :

ok can you pull it out and then take off the back

Customer:

Yes I can do that

KevinWhiteJA :

ok check if there is a reset...try to press it and see if it helps

KevinWhiteJA :

let me know how it goes

Customer:

OK …...

Customer:

Took the top off and would appear to be no reset button amongst the electronics . Sensor is inside the drum to check the dampness of the clothes . This is meant to be cleaned as well and I am trying to see if I can access this but looks a bit difficult .
