Welcome to Just answer
Have you tried to unplug it and then plug it back ?
Yes! It was unplugged for 12hours and I tried it again this morning with the same results. I have also tapped it ( loose connections?).
The sound is fine ?
Yes -and the picture outside the band is fine as well!
do you still hear the click ?
No! it sounds normal.
sorry was checking the components
the problem is more likely the buffer board or the plasma panel itself
if you are looking to repair it yourself you can remove the rear off the unit and then check the connectors at the back
this is a common issue with Panasonic plasma TVs
I will have a look. Although I know virtually nothing about plasma TVs I am an electronics engineer and will have a go, although I believe a replacement panel is not cost effective. I will have a look at buffer boards prices. Thanks for your help
Yes the problem is either the Panel and it will cost a lot...if it is the buffer board (C board) then it will cost around £130
