Hiya,
Can you post the product number (PNC) from the label inside the fridge?
It begins with 9 so you need to prefix it with A to prevent it being crossed out.

eg A914419941 00

What temperature is it at now?

At the bottom rear is the compressor, is this running?
If it is, is it very hot?

Thanks

product number--927718871

Temperature +9

Not hot at back

Hiya,
OK, is the compressor running or not?

Thanks

Compressor not running

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
Thanks for that.

Unplug the appliance for 10 minutes.
Plug it back in and see if it starts up (compressor running)
It may take up to 20 minutes for it to start, if it starts.

Thanks

Compressor is not running-----what now

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
OK, the most likely cause of the problem is the control board controlling the machine.

You will need to have it diagnosed on site but, this would be the most likely cause.

You can have a repairer that charges for the call plus parts or you can have a fixed price repair that includes all parts and labour.

For the fixed price repair, copy and paste the following into a new browser window.

http://www.britishgas.co.uk/products-and-services/home-electrics/one-off-electrical-appliance-repairs.html

If British Gas cover your area, it's £125 inclusive, no charge if they can't repair it.

The alternative would be to get the Electrolux agents in, copy and paste the following into a new browser window

http://www.serviceforce.co.uk/

They have options for repair, including out of warranty repairs and also a no fix no fee one too.

Check them out, see which suits best and get them into sort the problem out.

Other possible causes are a faulty compressor or faulty sensors.

Hope this helps
Thanks

Hiya,
Yes, you can call them.

Thanks---- but compressor is now warm although temperature is still +9. Do I give it more time ?

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
OK, so the compressor is running but there's no cooling.
That suggests there's a system fault, lack of refrigerant or a weak compressor.

Leave it running, see if does actually get down to temperature and stop.

If it does and it doesn't start again, it's the sensors/control board at fault.

Thanks

Temperature has only come down to +8, compressor warm. I should have mentioned small amount of moisture behind fridge---? leak of refridgerant. Do I contact Scottish gas or service force ?

Expert:  Techdesk replied 3 years ago.
Hiya,
You can contact either of them, they both have a no fix, no fee offer.
The Scottish Gas one is across the board, the Service Force one appears to be new so you'll need to discuss with them.

Thanks
