XXXXX XXXXX : where are the room stat(s) located?
XXXXX XXXXX : what is the boiler temperature set at
XXXXX XXXXX : do you have TRV's
XXXXX XXXXX : all thses can affect the air temperature in different parts of the housr
Customer:

We have not changed any of the settings and it was working perfectly. Then last evening the temperature downstairs kept on rising above the set temperature.

Customer:

The room stats are in the hall and this is where the temperature is set. What are TRV's. It is very worrying that the temperature continues to rise above the set temperature but only downstairs

XXXXX XXXXX : Do you not have thermostatic radiator valves?
XXXXX XXXXX : Also, do you have a motorised valve in the airing cupboard - this is your most likely cause
