F43 is a no motor action fault code which is usually down to worn carbon brushes in the motor.
But try and clear the error code and see what happens. to do this you need to.
Set selector switch to off then turn the selector switch to the 6 o'clock (spin) position. Then press and hold the spin speed selector button whilst turning the selector switch one more click to the 7 o'clock (drain) position. Release spin button then turn selector to off.
Sometimes it doesn't work first time so may need a few trys. But once cleared retry it and see what happens.
If it happens again then you need to remove the motor from the bottom and check the carbon brushes in the back of the motor and replace them if worn and reset the code again and that should cure the fault here.
Information did come through quickly but I do feel that £22 is a little steep for a few minutes work, especially after looking at what other engineers were charging, just assumed that it was all one price, must shop around next time but the service was good
