this whirlpool washer/dryer had a leak going to the machine.

this whirlpool washer/dryer had a leak going to the machine. the water was turned off while the machine was running and the leak fixed, but the water was turned off briefly to do the repair. now the machine keeps coming up with an error message and has be restarted. any ideas please?

sorry but this machine belongs to a friend and i don,t know any more details. i will try to get them but it will have to be tomorrow now if that,s ok.

Error code is e10. Hope it helps, but cannot see model number.

Sorry, without a model number I can't look up the machine.
E10 isn't a normal Whirlpool code either.

Are you sure the machine is Whirlpool?
The code would suggest to me, Electrolux, Zanussi or AEG.

OK, thanks for that.

E10 is a filling fault.

You should be able to simply cancel the program and start a new one.

Cancel and select spin only, what happens?
Ensure the water to the machine is on and getting to it.
Check the inlet valve filter (turn the water off and take the hose off to check the filter).

If all clear and you are getting water to the valve, let me know.
