I have a Siemens washer/dryer and dishwasher in a flat I own.

Resolved Question:

I have a Siemens washer/dryer and dishwasher in a flat I own. The pump of the washing machine became blocked with fluff & lint and had to be replaced - is this a problem with the machine or the user?

Hiya,
Fluff and lint will come off of some laundry and be caught in the filter.

Normally, if it blocks, it's simply a case of draining the water out and then cleaning out the filter.

I've not had one where I've had to replace the pump because of fluff and/or lint, so, I'd say, on this occasion, it's been a fault on the machine.

Hope this helps
Thanks
