Can you post the actual model number of the appliance please?

It should be on a label on the door or in the door recess.
It may also be on the facia.

OK, thanks for that.

The button presses directly onto the circuit board so if it's staying in, it suggests the circuit board has moved.

Unplug the appliance.
Take the top off.
Check to see if the circuit board has moved and see if the retaining clips are broken.
