Hello,
I am Tech Michael and I will be assisting you today.
Please be patient with us as these are technical questions and some testing may be required.
It may take a bit of back and forth conversation to be sure we have all the information in order to make a proper diagnosis.
May I have the full model #?
Also is yours a front loader as I suspect?

Thank you
Tech Michael

Hi Tony,
Thank you for that info.
this is a bad sensor on the back of the drum.
When the motor is commanded to run but the sensor doesn't see it, the machine will stop the motor.
Its call a hall effect sensor on most models. Its easy to replace and I will help you if you want to do that. I can also let you know where to get that if you want me to?
I will stick with you until we have this fixed but since this may take some time, if you will rate my service in a positive fashion thus far before you close this page, the system will allow me to schedule free follow ups with you and also ensure your question will NOT close or time out;-)
You will then be able to contact me at anytime at no additional cost until we have this fixed for you.

Thank you Tony hope that helps;-)

Expert:  Michael replied 3 years ago.
Hi Tony I cant seem to get to the site now for some reason, but please try Espares first, 0844 9777 888.
If they dont have it let me know.
They would be the cheapest for that.
All you need is the full model # of the machine when you call them;-)
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

ok.

and just to confirm, is it a "hall effect sensor"?

Expert:  Michael replied 3 years ago.
Hi it could be also called a rotation sensor, it is part of the back of the motor and it tells the processor what the motor is doing;-)
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
