Hi all, Bosch Exxceo shows F17 fault about midway through

Resolved Question:

Hi all,

Bosch Exxceo shows F17 fault about midway through each wash. I am currently coping with this by running a wash, then when the F17 shows I change to a 'rinse' then a 'spin'.
This indicates to me that there is no actual mechanical fault - as the machine can carry out each of these functions - wash, rinse, spin.
The water inlet seems fine - good pressure, no kinks in pipes, filters clear.
What should I do next?
Cheers

Km

Customer:

Hi Kevin,

Customer:

sorry not to have answered for a while. Got the machine open, located pressure switch have it a tap etc. the tube leading into it seems to be undetachable - looks like a complete sealed unit. Didn't want to rip the tube off just in case I ruined the pressure switch.

KevinWhiteJA :

Hi

KevinWhiteJA :

so have you cleaned it completely ?

Customer:

Ran another wash and it it would seem to be a faulty pressure switch (although you know better!). The machine initially fills with water, spins, drains then proceeds to next agitation without refilling. It's as if the pressure switch isn't resetting.

KevinWhiteJA :

Yes even the error code also indicates that it is a pressure problem

Customer:

anyway, time to rate you! thanks for help. have good weekend!
