Hi,tried the tips, removed pressure switch, blew gently into inlet, heard clicking, blew down pressure hose, seemed clear, checked inlet filters, removed and cleaned whole of water inlet housing.Tried machine and it paused on rinse /drain.My wife tells me that if the machine pauses and she doesn't notice straight away there is a smell of something getting hot.Any ideas please.
OK...when it stops, is the water inside cold ?
We think so cos it's on the rinse cycle.
ok and when it stops the water is still in there ?
and where is that smell coming from ? from the top or from the back or from the bottom of the washer ?
Haven't really noticed so will have to double check and get back to you....Thanks
ok, also take a look at the door interlock at that time and let me know...Thanks
Hi,tried machine again, pump seems to be jamming, fair bit of headache on impeller. Also, put machine on 40deg wash, timer got down to 11mins and drained, then took water on and timer went back to 22mins,got down to 6mins then went back to 13mins,machine then finished cycle.Would pump fault affect timings. Is it worth replacing pump if programmer is playing up.....thanks
Hi, if the pump is jamming up its better to replace it...I dont think there is any problem with the control as the pump is only affecting these timings
OK,cheers, thanks very much for your help.
