Having bought a new gas operated Thetford N3000 fridge/freezer

Resolved Question:

Having bought a new gas operated Thetford N3000 fridge/freezer as a replacement for our old gas operated fridge/freezer in our roadside food preparation van and having it installed by a fully qualified LPG gas engineer, we find that we are unable to use it because we are told that it needs a 240 volt electric supply, as we don't have access to a 240 volt electric supply is there any way we can use this fridge/freezer using an ordinary 24 volt leisure battery supply? and operate it on LPG as we planned without 240 volt.

XXXXX XXXXX : You could use an inverter to convert the 12v to 240v - do you have the details from the badge inside the fridge (voltage, current, etc)
