Beko dishwaser DWD5410W has suddenly stopped working, The lights come on but the cycle wont start.

Have you tried to clean the drain pump assembly ?

It's probably about 7 years old. No, I am on my own and cannot move the dishwasher. all that happened is the last time I went to empty it, the bottom was full of water. I emptied it by hand, took all the dishes out and tried to set it on a hot wash, thinking it might be blocked somewhere. Nothing happened - the light above the cycle section switch comes on, and the on/off switch light comes on but the machine wont run at all.

OK, if you can get someone to help you...you will have to pull it out then clean the drain pump completely...if everything is fine there and problem returns then it is due to a bad heater assembly or a bad control itself...unfortunately reset sequence wont help here...let me know how it goes

I haven't resolved the situation because I feel you have told me something I already know - get someone out! I was hoping you would have told me how to reset it. I wasn't expecting to have to pay for this if I wasn't 100% satisfied - that's what the website says - and I am back to square one.
