Customer Question

I have a TB Gemini double oven, about 17 years old. The cooler motor in the top oven squeaks loudly. A local repairman has tried twice and failed to fix it. His last words to me were: 'If the armature has gone, there are no replacements, you'll need a new oven'. True? Your comments please? I don't want to spend any more money on repairs if it is simply money wasted. Otherwise the cooker is in good order

Hiya,
Can you post the actual model number of the appliance please?
If you have the product number (begins with 6 or 9) this would be better.

It should be on a label in the door recess.

Thanks

Hiya,
Sorry, you didn't prefix it with A so all I see is XXXXXXXXXX

Put the A in front of the number.

eg. A914419941 and I'll see it.
Without it, XXXXXXXXX

Thanks

Hiya,
As he has tried lubricating it and it's still noisy the only cure is to replace it.

From the number you've posted I get the part number #3113635001

Copy and paste the following into a new browser window

http://www.espares.co.uk/search?SearchTerm=3113635001

This is the cooling fan fitted to your machine.

There are 2 available there and this could sort out the problem with your machine.

You need to get your repairer to check the part number and see if he can then repair the appliance.

If you have good diy skills, you could do the fan swap yourself.

Hope this helps
Thanks
