Will the marks come off if you rewash them?

Ok if the marks don't come off and the washer is noisy then its looking like the

bearings may have failed on this.

 

As what happens is the oil comes out of the bearing and gets into the wash which then puts the marks on the clothes and gives you this fault you have. And it also makes the washer noisy as the bearings wear.

 

Now depending on the model its weather you can just replace the bearings as you need to be able to remove the drum and split it to access the bearings. So some models have a welded tub were you cannot replace the bearing so needs to have the drum replaced.

 

But either way its an expensive repair and if theres no insurance on the washer its usually not worth having it fixed im afraid.
